July 1st- Canada Day
We drove from Muncho Lake to Watson Lake and saw 5 brown bears, 1 grizzly and a fox.
We wandered around the sign forest, it is much larger than photos can represent. It started raining after we looked around for a while, so we called it quits before we saw the whole thing.
This is a typical Canadian waste receptacle. They all have a hand hold trigger release on the top before you can lift the lid. It is a little inconvenient as sometimes it takes both hands. Clearly bear proof. We have seen these everywhere since entering Canada.
We found a small bar and restaurant on the way back to the RV park. They had a nice German beer on tap and some different cider for Nancy. There was a huge Alaskan Husky wandering the bar, nice dog. The owners were European, not sure exactly which country, but they were nice people. We showed up before the crowd, so we had the place to ourselves for a while. Interestingly, the TV had Fox News on it, so we watched some of the O'Reilly Factor.
